Conventional Treatment

Conventional treatment is also referred to as Comprehensive treatment, or full braces.
The ideal time to start full treatment varies from child to child.  Some girls can start at 10 1/2 to 11 years old whereas boys usually start a little later, from 11 1/2 to 14.  This is because boys grow later and longer than girls.

The benefits of comprehensive treatment are the achievement of ideal esthetics and function.  Making the posterior teeth fit together properly reduces premature wear and muscle cramping issues, and insures joint stability.

Comprehensive treatment can be performed with conventional metal braces, ceramic anterior braces (with metal posteriors), invisalign or the invisible inside braces (Incognito.)

We would love for you to call our office to make an appointment to discuss the orthodontic issues that concern you the most, and which types of comprehensive treatment will achieve your goals.
